Hey y'all. Hope everybody has a safe and fun week off. Keep working on Mucha if you want, or have some fun with the new topic. We're gonna go with a multi-themed topic to really stretch. Pick a Pilgrim or an Indian and go for it in the style of the great J.C Leyendecker. Here's some inspiration.
So I drew a really quick sketch of myself today (well...me-ish) enjoying an almost winter day. Then I looked to mucha for the colour. - (His work is aesthetically marvelous, but he likes to do scantily clad seducers of babylon so I put clothes on me. :) I didn't spend a lot of time on this...my time is a sieve.
Allrighty...time for some good ol' fashioned emulation exercise. Pick one (or more if you're feeling ambitious) season of the year and and go for it in the style of the amazing Alphonse Mucha. Here are some examples of his work.
If you've still got a turkey to post, post 'em up! Just because there's a new topic doesn't mean you can't post an old one:)
Well, kids, here's the house you don't go trick or treating to. Just wanted to try a different style and format so here she is!
