Haunted House

And for this week...a landscape! In keeping with the spirit of Halloween, this week the topic is HAUNTED HOUSES! Well, haunted houses are characters too, I suppose...so whatever you feel like interpreting your house as, go for it!

Not again...

Ohhh... who didn't make the comparison?

The Arrival

"Tonight the Great Pumpkin will rise out of the pumpkin patch. He flies through the air and brings toys to all the children of the world." ~Linus

The Great Heavenly Pumpkin

Yup, he has finally come!

New Topic

Hey, guess what? We are starting again! Wooo!

The topic is............
The Great Pumpkin!

What does the Great Pumpkin from Charlie Brown actually look like?

Start again?

Can we revive the site? I think there is still good use in this...

Yes?

I know this is an old theme but...

Apparently Warner Bros announced at a press release yesterday that they will be making "The Life and Times of Kelly Loosli, a tormented soul."

Congrats Kelly! I knew you could do it

Bean Museum happiness

Can't make it to the zoo? Come see the fabulous wonder of the BYU campus, the Monte L. Bean museum(located in a special spot just behind the bell tower)...hehehe. I work up there, so I had to put in a little bit of an advertisement. Seriously, though, the Bean Museum is one of the best places to study animals, 'cause they conveniently hold real still for you:) These sketches I did were from their African animal exhibit, done with marker and the Pilot Precise V5 in about 20-30 minutes. Cheers.

Well here it is quick and dirty. These were done with a Pitt Pen from reference. It took me 20 min for the whole page.

African Animals

OK we are going for quick. Just sketch 1 page of any animal from Africa take 15 min or so. Don't even clean it up, just post it straight from the scanned image.

Some quick "Birds"

Bats are birds, right? I mean, they have wings, they leave Guano everywhere, they suck peoples blood. They must be birds.

For The Birds

For the birds

This one was fun and quick and done as Ty was posting the new theme...last minute. baby :)

birdies!

Incredible!

I even did it all with a mouse during work.

OLD SCHOOL!

Whoever requested this is craaazy... :)

Well I tried to create the nintendo look because if I tried to do something 3D-looking in paint I would definitely have to get paid or something cuz that would be insane. But isn't it fun going back to cheap graphics for a minute or two?

My vacation is over! And I'll be back in town in a week or two- can't wait to see all your smiling computer-stoned faces hehe...take care!

The Mrs.

Perhaps my best artwork yet!

microsoft painter:"The Increddibles"

so we are mixing it up this week. I recieved a request to have a project done in Microsoft Painer(ya, the onld school painting program that we all used when we were kids to draw...well whatever you sick people drew) so the topic will be the movie,"the increddibles". No cheating, just draw and color it in painter(no scanning(im no sure if you can even import into painter) nor can you do it in PS and open it up in painter) yah!!!!
